Clyde Elementary School is located in the center of beautiful Haywood County, North Carolina. Clyde is a K-5 school serving a student population of about 500 students. Our mission at Clyde School is to help all children learn, achieve, and succeed. We do this by providing: safety in a secure environment, developmentally appropriate instruction based on North Carolina’s curriculum, challenging expectations to increase student performance, and positive relationships that foster mutual respect for each other and learning.
